In the darkness a creature lurked. He had not always had to hide himself in the darkness, for once he had been one of those who served the Most High God as an angel of light. But that was long ago, before he had rebelled, and now suffered this punishment of fearing exposure to any light because of the painful stinging that being exposed to the truth caused.
“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit” (Isaiah 14:12-15).
He did not have a physical body in the dimensions that earth resided in; so now he, who once held an important position, had amazing power, and reflected from his clothing the glorious light that shines from God himself, has been reduced to hiding in the shadows and whispering lies into the ears of these unsuspecting humans that God Himself loves so much.
Over these past 6000 years that humans have walked the earth, he and his kind have manifested their presence in a variety of ways. They have been worshiped as gods, inhabiting statues in grand temples. They have been sought out as the givers of power by shaman, witch doctors, witches and priests of Baal using a variety of names. They have manifested themselves as ghosts when fear is their goal, and as guiding spirits when they want someone to serve them in the physical realm.
Their one, last-remaining plot is that the prophesied return of the Son of God could be foiled – prevented through dissent and trickery – and Lucifer, though now greatly diminished, could win in the end.
Here was the plan! For more than a century, members of his team had been spreading rumors that there were other creatures, like the humans that had come to visit from beyond the stars, and were keeping themselves secret, only being seen fleetingly. These rumors over time had spread throughout the various cultures of the world; so when Lucifer’s plot was ready to spring, his forces hidden in the shadows would be described as these alien creatures seeking to do good to these humans.
The prophecies promise that, one day soon, the humans who are indwelt by the Spirit of God – those who can hear Him speak in their hearts – are so much harder to deceive with their lies: These Christians will be taken out of the world all at once, in a moment:
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore, comfort one another with these words” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).
And so would begin the dismantling of Lucifer’s kingdom here on planet Earth in what is described as the seven-year-Tribulation.
The plan is that, just at that moment when these followers of the Son are taken away, these beings will step in and claim that they are aliens from beyond the stars, who have come to rescue mankind from its self-destructiveness, by taking away those among Earth’s population who were preventing them from achieving enlightenment . It is the same lie that worked so well with Eve. “You can be like God; you only need to do what we tell you to do.”
“Then the serpent said to the woman, ‘You will not surely die. For God knows that, in the day you eat of it (the forbidden fruit), your eyes will be opened; and you will be like God…’” (Genesis 3:4-5).
These beings will explain that, since they don’t have bodies that can live on Earth, they have appointed a man to set-up a government over the whole world, that will bring peace and security. They can help mankind overcome the drastic changes in weather , which they have already convinced people is caused by using the very gifts of fossil fuels that God gave them. People have already become convinced that these gifts are doing them harm and that the carbon dioxide from these fuels is killing their planet.
“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish; because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2:7-12).
So the changes in weather – the birth pains of Christ’s Second Coming – are now striking fear in men, which is only fair because of how much fear and dread the thought of Christ’s return causes his kind.
“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken” (Luke 21:25-26).
The plan includes one more idol, since that has worked so well in the past. This time they will be able to communicate through a computer monitor – an idol that speaks. And people are ready to believe it.
