This group of ten students work together to produce two major publications. At the beginning of every year, I tell them that I am just as interested in their teamwork as I am in their creations. In his letter to the Philippian church, Paul stressed the importance of unity in the body of Christ.   Sweating Drops of Blood J. HEINRICH ARNOLD Surrendering to the will of Jesus means becoming one with him and with one another. Jesus fought so hard to surrender his will to the Father’s that he sweated drops of blood. Evil powers surrounded him and tried to cause his downfall, but he remained faithful: his attitude was “Thy will, not my will” (Luke 22:42). This should be our attitude, too, in all questions, even if we are persecuted for our faith.   Knowing the Heart of God Our Father promises that when we truly want to know Him, we will. March 31, 2023 1 Corinthians 13:11-13 Most of us long to feel truly known by those we love. That makes sense because we were created in God’s image—He also desires to be intimately understood and loved by us.  Just as you don’t want to be known for only the superficial details of who you appear to be, it’s not enough to simply know  about  the Lord. He wants us to learn how He thinks and feels, what’s important to Him, and what His purposes are. Of course, it’s impossible for us to completely know His mind. In  Isaiah 55:9 , He tells us, “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” The depth and breadth of His mind is so great that we will never be able to fully grasp it in this lifetime.  However, we can better understand God’s heart by seeking Him and learning from His Word.   Daily Jot: Stupidocrisy: World Court arrest warrants   - Bill Wilson –   www.dailyjot.com   On Friday, March 17, a very serious and somber Piotr Hofmanski, president of the International Criminal Court (ICC) publicly announced that the ICC has issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin for “alleged war crimes of deportation of children from Ukrainian occupied territories into the Russian Federation.” The ICC states in a release that “The crimes were allegedly committed in Ukrainian occupied territory at least from 24 February 2022. This so-called perfect storm was the result of three storms that combined into one, creating an almost apocalyptic situation in the Atlantic Ocean. Two existing storms were hit by a hurricane, ironically dubbed Hurricane Grace. The combination of these three weather elements produced a monstrous, two-thousand-mile-wide hurricane that produced one-hundred-foot waves.
