6-23-20 Defund Who?

James 1:5 (all scripture KJV) “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
In recent weeks a new ‘Insane Narrative’ came onto the scene, which I have to say in all my years on this planet ‘takes the cake’ for making absolutely no sense whatsoever, and that is to ‘Defund the Police’! All of a sudden it is ‘Privilege’ to have Law and Order and to expect Basic Protections to be Enforced for our own lives and that of our Citizens! Truly, this is ‘Beyond Lunacy,’ the likes of which most of us have not seen in our lifetime… up until now!
Those who have eyes to see, ears to hear, and a mind that can ‘independently think’ without being ‘imbibed by the Fake News Kool-Aid’ can plainly ascertain that this has nothing to do with Black Lives Matter, but everything to do with the ‘systematic takedown’ of our United States! It is clear that all these Socialistic and Communistic efforts are ‘nefarious attempts’ to turn this Once Great Nation into another Third-World Country! Needless to say, the time of the Tribulation is right around the corner now more than ever!
Hmm… what have we seen lately? Police Officers, the National Guard, and those in Congress are suddenly making a point to ‘kneel’ supposedly to and for Protestors?! I agree with certain online comments that I have seen concerning ‘this derangement,’ and that is the only One we are to bow and kneel down to is Jesus Christ, our God, Savior, and King! Not for anyone else!
Philippians 2:10-11 “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
What these people are doing by their ‘unprecedented and ridiculous kneeling’ is showing us who they really ‘pay homage and worship’ to! By doing this, they are giving their submission to the ‘god of this world’ and demonstrating their solidarity with Satan and his evil agendas! We are now living in an Isaiah 5:20 world where bad is called good, and good is called bad! Seeing all of this ‘madness’ day after day is sickening to say the least!
Isaiah 5:20-21 “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!”
To add insult to injury, we recently saw our Prodigals’ social media accounts having a link prompting others to sign a Petition supporting this ‘demented cause’! Gross lack of wisdom and discernment does not even begin to describe this type of mindset! On Judgment Day, people like this will ‘mortifyingly come to realize’ that the things they so ‘proudly rallied for and supported’ were in line with and in allegiance to Satan!
What will they say to the Almighty God of the Universe then?! Obviously, they were acting in defiance to God, because those who turn their backs on Jesus by trampling His Grace underfoot are ultimately given over to a debased mind! They take pleasure in all kinds of unrighteousness, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof; from such we are to turn away! ‘Disheartening emotions’ is just the ‘tip of the iceberg’ to say the least! Especially concerning this ‘intense battle’ for our Prodigals and their Eternal Souls!
Romans 1:28 “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.”
2 Timothy 3:1-5 “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
Our Local Nightly News Broadcast (whenever we watch it) tends to play clips at the end of the hour of voicemails from Callers commenting on Current Events. One particular voicemail they played the other night said something like this: “I am a Black Woman, and whoever came up with the idea to ‘Defund the Police’ is one Stupid Idiot! No… what needs to happen is the Officers who have multiple charges against them are the ones who need to be dealt with, and are the ones who need to take the responsibility!” (***Could not have stated this better myself!***)
A Radio Broadcast my husband listened to recently made ‘way more sense’ concerning this issue. In it they talked about instead of defunding the Police, how about doing the ‘opposite effect,’ kind of like ‘reverse psychology.’ Instead, actually ‘pay them more’ but at the same time make it harder to get into the Police Force through stringent and better background protocols. Also, if an Officer oversteps his bounds and gets out of line like what we have seen some do lately, make it to where they are automatically ‘Disciplined, Prosecuted, and Fired’! Basically, give Officers an ‘incentive’ to do a better job, seeing how they put their lives on the line every day; but, at the same time, hold them accountable for their actions!
Ultimately, WHO should be Defunded?! How about the Rioters, the Looters, and the Violent Protestors?! How about those who are creating all the mayhem, inciting the crime and violence, and, most of all, those who are ‘enabling and funding’ every despicable debacle year after year! Essentially, we know that we wrestle not against Flesh and Blood but against Principalities, Powers, and forces of Wickedness in high places. But make no mistake, God is not mocked, and those who follow after the workings of Satan will not go unpunished!
Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
Either way, we know the takedown of America is coming. The whole world will be under the control of the Anti-Christ. It is going to be an ‘Indescribably Horrible’ 7 excruciating years on this planet that will make days like the ones we are going through now seem like a ‘cake walk’! Revelation tells us that upon those who are left behind, demons will be unleashed, the bottomless pit will be opened, locusts with stingers like scorpions will torment mankind, and darkness in every way imaginable will cover the Earth!
Revelation 9:2-6 “And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
“And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.”
While we are still here, we have the ‘restraining influence’ of the Holy Spirit working in and through us! There is still time to get the Gospel out while we still can! Like the Late Pastor Adrian Rogers once said, “We know how this all ends, so for us Believers it is growing Gloriously Dark!” Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus!
