Somewhere along the way, We Americans…have lost our way! Do you think I am crazy with that statement? Let’s take a look at what the Bible says of these times.
2 Timothy 3:1-7 “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
So now…do you still think I am crazy? I can’t help but watch the News every day and see that the Passage of Scripture above…is absolute Truth. Now let’s see what Jesus Christ wants for us to be like.
John 13:34-35 “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”
Jesus Christ…God…says HE is giving us a “New Commandment.” Where is that Commandment being played out nowadays? I have never seen the like! The numbers of murders, attacks on Police, shooting sprees at places of employment, Churches, everywhere! If I were to look at only these, I would begin to think I was living in a 3rd World Country fraught with war. And then we look at the Kidnappings and Physical Assaults on children and women! How about the new abortion laws? Is any of this making any sense to anyone? What happened to Common Sense, Common Decency, Love of Life?
Rereading 2 Timothy above, I am seeing all of these all across our Nation! Don’t call me Crazy…until you look for yourselves. It is laid out in Black and White, in the Holy Word of God; and IF we are honest, everyone could admit we are dead-Center with that Passage of Scripture…RIGHT NOW. Now…tell me the Bible is Old Fashioned or Outdated. I must say, the Word of God IS ALIVE and proving itself at this very moment…Right? People, this is a wake-up call; even better, it is the WAKE-UP ALARM. And I already know there are other people, other Writers, saying this very thing, over and over again.
There is a problem here! The question is, “Where do YOU stand on all this stuff?” We must see that there is a problem and that we must do all we can to Arrest that Problem…According to the Word of God. That means each and every one of us is responsible for saying something, doing something about these issues!
Is immigration the issue? Is murder in our streets the issue? Abortion clinics? Our schools? Actually, every single instance is the Issue. As I have stated before, We are the Fallen Species here…and it is definitely showing…wouldn’t you agree?
The true Issue here is this: “We allowed legislation to remove our Lord and Savior from our Homes, Our Schools and our Courts!” The evidence shows…Proves…that was the worst thing to happen…for all of us! WE are responsible for that! Maybe you have forgotten whom you voted into Office where you live. Yuppers…each of us is at fault for allowing these things to take place; and one day WE…as in each of us…will face Jesus Christ…and we will account for our Part in it.
President Trump? He is NOT the issue here. Following the Law as prescribed by the Lord God is the issue…or NOT following that Law of God. Trust me when I say, each of us is accountable, whether we go with the Law of God…or we don’t. That, my Friends, is a very serious issue! Please Remember:
Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
Did you read that part in the above verse about Judgment? Judgment for what? Evidently each of us is going to be Judged for our actions or the lack thereof…remember…Intent of the Heart…comes before action.
2 Corinthians 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
Just so we all understand…for the things we do…and the things we don’t do. As in, we can hide our heads in a hole in the ground…as if nothing bad is taking place…OR…we can help to do something about it. You can turn off the TV set, but the issues are still taking place. Do you understand that each of us has a part in everything taking place? Whether we enjoy it or not…good or bad…something must be done! Then again, maybe you don’t agree with the Commandment of the Lord…right? That is counted as well, my Friends.
I am having a difficult time getting people to understand that you cannot sit there covering your eyes and your ears…thinking that nothing is happening – thinking you have no responsibility in these issues – that somehow, they will all just disappear…somehow! How about Letters and Emails to our Representatives and members of Congress, TELLING them to get off their collective Butts and act on these Issues. STOP the madness…STOP the murders…get back to the Bible…to HONOR the Lord God! Put PRAYER back in our schools…advance the HONOR for Authority…Promote decency…Promote the HONOR of Life. LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
Please remember, my Friends…you can NOT run from the Lord…you can NOT Hide from the Lord…every one of our actions…OR…the lack of our actions…is being recorded by the Lord God! As always…what will be your response to HIM…your EXCUSE maybe? Will your response be that everyone will KNOW you Honor the Lord God with your actions? Please re-read John 13once again.
Try looking up SHAME, or the opposite of HONOR in the Dictionary. It’s right there in Black and White…Just like it is TRUTH in God’s Holy Word to you and me. I am choosing to HONOR my Lord and Savior…Jesus Christ…because HE IS GOD. I want to make HIM Proud…How about you?
