9-23-21 Where He Leads Me

Where He Leads Me :: By Dennis Huebshman Published on: September 14, 2021 by RRadmin7 Category:General Articles There are so many different paths available to follow today that it’s no wonder we see so much aggravation and confusion. Sadly, the one path that everyone should be on is the one least taken, and our Heavenly Father is not at all surprised by this. In fact, Jesus spoke of it about 2,000 years ago in Matthew 7:13-14. He said the pathway to eternal life would be “straight and narrow,” and few would find it. The other pathway is very broad and contains all the other ways to eternity, but an eternity of condemnation. That path will eventually reveal that the majority of the world’s souls are on it. (all emphasis mine) Satan is having a field day that’s just getting good and started. Through his encouragement and the activities of false prophets and antichrists, things of this world are being chosen over Our Savior. People are actually preparing themselves for the lake of fire. His “did God really say?” line is working just as well today as it did for the first couple in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3). End-time prophecy is being revealed and completed at a record pace. The next major event will be the “taking up” of all true believers to meet Jesus in the air. It will take place as the word of God says it will, and it will be over in less than one second. Paul’s reference in 1 Corinthians 15:52 to “the twinkling of an eye” has been calculated by mathematical experts as a fraction of one second. Some may say this would be impossible, but nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37). Satan knows what his outcome will eventually be, yet he has not slowed down with his deceptions one single bit. Just out of curiosity, has anyone taken note that there are regular “UFO sightings” lately? Also, reports of comets and asteroids being very close to the earth? Faux news reports are giving this information regularly. Would it be fair to say an excuse for the “disappearances” is being set up for when it happens? One scenario recently reported is that there’s a force that will come upon the earth to remove all the “haters” that are here. That would leave the world to exist in “peace” without them. Guess who the haters are – Christians. It seems that all the alphabet groups, the race groups, the far-left groups, and others agree on one thing; Christians are haters because we don’t adhere to their worldly ways. We are a threat to their diverse and perverse ways. Even some organized evangelical churches are “preaching” that the abominations of the Bible do not exist anymore as sin. After all, God used these as a “control factor” for the ancient people to help keep them in line. The people of the earth today have evolved into far more sophisticated beings and are able to handle all the different lifestyles. They forget a fact given in 2 Peter 3:8; “But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord, one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” First, our Heavenly Father, Creator of the heavens and the earth and of all of us, is not bound by time as we are. He made the minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years for us. Calculating what Peter said about 2,000 years ago, it’s only been about 2 minutes for the Lord. It all comes down to who you are going to listen to and who you are going to follow. Right here is a good place to insert Joshua 24:15; “And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve. Whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of those Amorites in whose land you dwell. But, as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” The complete persecution of Christians and also the Jews is just getting started. We may or may not actually see the start of the Ezekiel 38 war, but before the peace treaty can be signed, we will be gone from here. The person who is responsible for the “perfect peace plan” will be none other than the new, totally evil, one world leader – the antichrist. God promised we would not be involved in the wrath/tribulation (1 Thessalonians 1:10; 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10; Revelation 3:10). Because of the Holy Spirit residing in all true believers, the antichrist cannot be revealed until He is removed (2 Thessalonians 2:6-8). Personally, anywhere Jesus wants to lead me, I will follow. I may be persecuted, but was He not persecuted all the way to a cruel cross? And did He not die on that cross for my sins? Knowing where my eternity will be makes the decision easier to make. Ernest W. Blandy wrote a song in 1890, “Where He Leads, I Will Follow.” Blandy could have preached in any number of east coast plush churches, but he was an officer in the Salvation Army, and his ministry was a place called “Hell’s Kitchen” in New York City. Please consider his message in this powerful song: 1.) I can hear My Savior calling; I can hear My Savior calling; I can hear My Savior calling; I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way. Ref) Where He leads me, I will follow; where He leads me, I will follow; where He leads me, I will follow; I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way. 2.) I’ll go with Him through the garden; I’ll go with Him through the garden; I’ll go with Him through the garden; I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way. 3.) I’ll go with Him through the Judgment; I’ll go with Him through the Judgment; I’ll go with Him through the Judgment; I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way. 4.) He will give me Grace and Glory; He will give me Grace and Glory; He will give me Grace and Glory, And go with me, with me all the way. Once more, Romans 10:9-13 gives the simple steps to Salvation. Some may say too simple, yet God does not lie. He loves us far greater than we could ever understand and wants no one to fail (2 Peter 3:9), He allows us to make our own choice where we will spend our forever. The only way to be with the Father is through the grace of the sacrifice made by Jesus, and through God’s mercy because of that sacrifice. Further verses that give us this information are John 3:16-18; John 14:6; Acts 2:21; Acts 4:12; and Romans 8:1, just for starters. Plain and simple and to the point: admit (confess) you are a sinner and ask Jesus to forgive you; believe He died for our sins and God raised Him from the dead to conquer sin and death once and for all; call on the name of the Lord, and you will be saved. If you have the Son, you have the Father. Without Jesus, you don’t have the Father, and Heaven will not be your eternal home. Heaven with the Son; Hell without the Son. There’s no room for argument, and no other option exists. Jesus will be calling soon, as stated in Luke 21:28 because all the signs are present today. Nothing further needs to be done for the Rapture to take place. Be ready; you don’t want to spend the worst 7-year period of time this earth has ever seen. All who call on Him to receive and accept His free gift need to do so now. To put it off could leave you at the station after the train has departed.
