9-30-17 Psalm 27

Dear Father in heaven,  in the world we are full of fear; in you we have peace. We pray that your Spirit may give us the joy of your heavenly kingdom and the strength to live in your service. Remember those who suffer pain, who still have to walk paths of fear and distress. Grant them help, to the glory of your name. May we be united in hope and in expectation of what you will give through your great goodness and faithfulness. Amen. Psalm 27 King James Version (KJV) 27  The  Lord  is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the  Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2  When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3  Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. 4  One thing have I desired of the  Lord , that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the...

9-30-17 Fatal Flaw

Fatal Flaw :: By Robert Fleischmann Published on:  September 26, 2017  by  RRadmin7   Category: General Articles The tenets of evolution and creation conflict on many  points  but none as significantly as on the reality of original sin. Original sin can be defined as: “The guilt and sinfulness inherited by all people as a result of Adam’s fall into sin.” We also call this the “sinful nature” of human beings. Scripture describes it this way: The LORD smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: “Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living  creatures , as I have done. (Genesis 8:21) Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me. (Psalm 51:5) For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewd...

9-30-17 Embracing the Spirit of the Age

Embracing the Spirit of the Age :: By Howard Green Published on:  September 26, 2017  by  RRadmin7   Category: General Articles I’m amazed how rapidly our technology has advanced. It wasn’t that long ago when we had to unfurl a large paper  map  just to see which exit to take so we could get to our destination. Now we are guided by satellite with almost pinpoint precision everywhere we need to go. If you miss your turn, the navigation system automatically initiates a course correction. If you don’t follow the course correction, the device will  continue  to suggest a U-turn at the closest intersection. If you continue to ignore the course corrections, the route to your destination is changed and an alternate way is suggested. This driving scenario is not unlike what is taking place inside many churches today. A growing number of fellowships are following the course of this world despite repeated warnings to change directio...

9-30-17 Comedy Central Pro Lifers

Comedy Central Pro Lifers: “Jesus Hates You” :: By Geri Ungurean Published on:  September 27, 2017  by  RRadmin7   Category: General Articles ,  Geri Ungurean Comedy Central Depicts Pro Lifers With “Jesus Hates You” Signs On the Comedy Central show “Broad City” Hollywood shows the world just how much they unashamedly worship Satan. The Pro-Death camp has always been led by the Evil one, but because he is the Deceiver,  this movement was very subtle in the 1970’s. After the Roe Vs. Wade decision in 1973, women were told in killing mills that “It isn’t really a baby right now. It is only a clump of cells.”  Now, these satanically inspired women brasenly tell the world “My body – my choice.” They would have an abortion right up to the day of delivery. They  claim  that their consciences are clear. Here is a clip from the disgusting  Broad City  show: https://www.mrctv.org/embed/515971 Some women might have a clea...

9-30-17 Singing Off Key

Singing Off Key :: By Grant Phillips Published on:  September 27, 2017  by  RRadmin7   Category: General Articles ,  Grant Phillips As a youngster growing up in church, I regularly sang in the adult  church choir  along with a half dozen or so of my friends during those days. From about twelve to fourteen years of age until we graduated from high school, we were regular participants in the choir. I think we all enjoyed those times, and during those four to six years in the choir, our voices even improved to the point that some of us would sing specials. There was one guy our age however who was tone  deaf . He sang off key. He was not in tune … ever. Even though I hated to be the one who might occasionally have to stand beside him (because he would pull me off key), I admired him for being faithful. He really stuck with it. Amazingly, to me anyway, by the time we were seniors in high school, he actually became a decent singer, rarely off...

9-29-17 Stars

Psalm 8:3-4 King James Version (KJV) 3  When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast  ordained ; 4  What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? King James Version  (KJV) AS a young child I would sit for hours at night looking up at the heavens at all of the stars and planets. Such amazement for a child to imagine how large and vast the universe must be. To think that one being could speak and create such beauty and wonderment. To know that the same being also created me and that I would be more important to him than all the stars in the sky. As we grow older we become preoccupied with the daily routines and worries of life and we don't have the time to look up at the stars any more and wonder. I miss those nights even though I really didn't know Jesus at that age I still felt at one with the universe and all was well. There are too many street lights and other lig...

9-29-17 Psalm 26

Dear Father in heaven,  grant us your Spirit so that here on earth we may be united with you in Jesus Christ the Savior. May truth dawn on us with its light, bringing joy no matter what happens to us. May all the pain in our lives be turned into birth pangs of a new life in which we can rejoice as people you have created, people prepared for the struggle on earth, who are called into battle and led to victory. Grant that we may not be blinded by the surrounding darkness. Shed a clear light on the new life that is coming. May we see what has already happened because Jesus Christ came to the earth and remains on earth, and may we see what is still to come through him, the Savior. O God of wonders, keep us aware of the wonders that increasingly surround us, until all the pain on earth is finally overcome and we men glorify your love and your great goodness. Amen. Psalm 26 King James Version (KJV) 26  Judge me, O  Lord ; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trust...
