Because the liberal media has covered for him from the moment he started running for office, the average American citizen is not aware of his true mental state. Only about a third of Americans say Biden isn’t mentally sharp enough for the job, according to a new Insider poll. A sizeable majority, 61%, is at least somewhat to extremely confident in Biden’s cognitive abilities. I watched a newscast of Biden’s nomination of two female generals to lead U.S. military combatant commands. The press had edited out the part where He forgot the name of the Defense Department (Pentagon) and its leader Secretary Lloyd Austin. “And I want to thank the sec — the, the ah former general. I keep calling him generally, but my, my — the guy who runs the outfit over there,” Mr. Biden said during the White House event. It’s very troubling that there is clear evidence that the person who is supposed to be the leader of the Free world is not in charge. “And I’m happy to take questions if that’s what I’m supposed to do, Nance,” Biden addressed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, “whatever you want me to do.” In a virtual feed to Democrats where Biden accepted to take questions, he said something as though he was “taking orders from someone else” before the feed was cut off completely. The American people deserve to know who is really running their government. In his first week of office, Biden carried out a record 30 executive orders. I’m guessing he has little understanding of what he was signing. Vice President Kamala Harris has been taking a very active role in filling Biden’s shoes. She has had several calls with foreign leaders, independent of President Biden. Harris spoke with the prime minister of Norway, Erna Solberg, where Harris “affirmed her commitment to deepening the strong alliance between Norway and the United States.” Harris previously took calls alone with French President Emanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, as well as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. President Biden has yet to hold a solo press conference, which quickly becomes a record for any sitting President. There’s still no official date for Biden to give his first address to a joint session of Congress. It has become quite clear that fellow members of Biden’s party will say anything to avoid questioning the president’s mental ability. House Majority Whip Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) responded to FOX News host Neil Cavuto’s question of President Joe Biden’s mental acuity after he was unable to recall the name of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. In an interview, Clyburn said this is “a stuttering issue” and “it doesn’t affect his brain at all.” REP. CLYBURN: This is much ado about nothing. I think you know as well as I do; I talked with the president about this. He has what we call stuttering. It’s always been a problem with this president. He’s been very open with that. It doesn’t affect his brain at all. But it sometimes affects his speech. So that’s an issue that all of us know is there. I don’t know why we keep trying to make something out of it. At 78, Biden is the oldest man to ever serve as president, beating out Ronald Reagan, whose second term ended a couple of weeks before his 78th birthday. He is constantly out of touch with reality. He described the newly passed 1.9 stimulus bill as bi-partisan, even though not a single Republican in either chamber voted for it. The reporters that cover the White House must be dying inside as they are forced to accept the dumb general answer to their question. The following exchange made me laugh: Reporter: “What did you learn about your immigration briefing?” Mr. Biden: “A lot.” It nearly always ends in disaster when you have a government that is run by people in the shadows. The lack of accountability naturally leads to corruption and chaos. For weeks we’ve had illegal alien children pouring into the country. The Biden administration refuses to call the situation a crisis. By the time people realize the negative impact of having a president who is mentally unfit for the job, the damage will be unavoidable. We are at the stage where things go from bad to worse. The people cry out for help, and the government responds with aid that demands they surrender more of their liberty. “When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan” (Proverbs 29:2 ESV).
