Rapture Ready End Times News 31 Mar 2021 Published on: March 31, 2021 by RRadmin7 Trump launches new website – here’s what it’s doing On Monday, former President Donald Trump and former First Lady Melania Trump launched a new website to coordinate his future public appearances and promote his “America First” political vision. The website is titled The Office of Donald J. Trump and is registered with the domain name, 45Office.com. The website comes amid speculation about Trump’s political aspirations after losing reelection in 2020. Gallup, veteran of polls, documents worst-ever figure for churches For the first time ever, fewer than half of Americans say they are members of a church, synagogue or mosque, and a Christian apologist says that figure should alarm those who are sitting in the pews on Sunday morning. The steady decline in church attendance among Americans has been documented for decades, meaning it is not making headlines anymore, but Gallup reports the under-50% is a first...

Thy Will Be Done J. Heinrich Arnold Surrendering to the will of Jesus means becoming one with him and with one another. Jesus fought so hard to surrender his will to the Father’s that he sweated drops of blood. Evil powers surrounded him and tried to cause his downfall, but he remained faithful: his attitude was “Thy will, not my will” (Luke 22:42). This should be our attitude, too, in all questions, even if we are persecuted for our faith. Whatever happens, imprisonment or even death, we should say, “Thy will, not my will.” Source: Discipleship

3-31-21 Daily Prayer

Daily Prayer for March 31 Christoph Friedrich Blumhardt We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. 1 John 5:20, NIV Lord our God, we turn our faces to you and plead with you to come to us earthly and often tormented people. May we find strength in the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom redemption is promised to us all. May your kingdom at last be revealed and everything change for the better even though we do not see it yet. May we always honor your name above all others, for you are our Father and we want to hold fast to your grace that lets us call you Father. In our troubled times we want to have enduring faith that you can bring a new time when good shall at last emerge from all the distress. Grant that every broken and needy person may experience your help, your grace, and your salvation, and may know that these alw...

3-31-21 Today in the Word

MIRIAM - A SOLEMN WARNING Like all parents everywhere, my husband and I have frequent conversations about how to discipline our children. Often we ask ourselves: Does the punishment fit the crime? Will this particular consequence teach the lesson we long for our kids to learn? The answer isn’t always as obvious as one might imagine. Are we being too lenient? Or too harsh? From a human perspective, God’s discipline toward Miriam in Numbers chapter 12 might seem too severe. Even after He verbally chastised her and Aaron for their jealously, God’s anger still burned toward them. So much so that He followed up His lecture with leprous sores all over Miriam’s body—and only hers (vv. 10–11). It is the first case of leprosy recorded in the Bible. Immediately, Aaron began to plead for her deliverance. He did not just ask for healing though. He begged for mercy: “I ask you not to hold against us the sin we have so foolishly committed” (v. 11). Note that he addressed his plea to Moses. Not to G...

March 31, 2021 Building to Last Forever 1 Corinthians 3:11-15 When a high-rise building goes up in my city of Atlanta, Georgia, I think about all the construction involved. Underneath is a grid of steel and concrete giving strength to all the floors stacked overhead. In a similar way, we need a firm foundation to build a life with purpose. Jesus lays that groundwork for believers when they receive His salvation. Christ’s saving grace gives His followers a new life. Sins are wiped away so that we have a clean “work site,” so to speak. Empowered by Jesus’ strength and wisdom, we can build on His foundation. The decision that needs to be made is whether to shape our eternal legacy with God-serving activities and habits or selfish ones. Paul separates spiritual construction material into two categories: durable metal and dry kindling (1 Corinthians 3:12). A grass hut is easily destroyed by fire, but at the judgment, we want to greet the Lord from a sturdy structure, built with gleaming ...

3-31-21 To Be or Not to Be?

To Be or Not to Be? :: By Jim Towers Published on: March 19, 2021 by RRadmin7 Category:General Articles, Jim Torres “Towers” Recently, when a Republican lawmaker referenced God in his speech before the House in Congress, Democrat Representative Jerry Nadler said, “What any religious tradition describes as God’s will is of no concern of this congress.” I, for one, challenge that assertion. Shouldn’t the God of the Universe be allowed to have a say in the affairs of men – men that He created? After all, He only wants what’s best for us, and to deny Him a voice in Government is tantamount to asking for trouble – big trouble. When this same God was challenged in the wilderness, He killed hundreds for worshiping a golden calf they had made to worship. God is a jealous God (although the definition differs slightly these days); He readily admits it and has every right to be angry. With this new administration in place, could or should a person be vocal about their own personal belief system...

3-31-21 Jesus Saves- Satan Kills

Jesus Saves – Satan Kills :: By Dennis Huebshman Published on: October 10, 2020 by RRadmin7 Category:General Articles Joel 2:32; “And it shall come to pass, that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Acts 2:21; “And it shall come to pass, that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13; “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Please note, when the Father says anything in His word to us, it’s important. Further, if something is repeated, especially three or more times, it’s an absolute Holy Guarantee. There are literally hundreds of verses throughout the Bible that tells us the Lord Saves. (all emphasis mine) Romans 8:1; “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” For everyone who has received and accepted Jesus as their Savior, Redeemer, Messiah, and absolute best Friend, it doesn’t matter what race they are or where in the world they reside; they can absolutely become a par...

3-31-21 Be The Good

Be the Good :: By Holly Spate Published on: October 10, 2020 by RRadmin7 Category:General Articles, Holly Spate Love. Be kind. Be respectful. Encourage. Help. Care. Be selfless. Do good. If everyone in our world practiced these things, how much more calm and beautiful would the world (and your little corner of it) be? People’s inability to put away pride, treat others the way they wish to be treated, show respect and kindness, are just some of what robs from joy and tarnishes good. It can make one feel hopeless, discouraged, ungrateful. It can drive one to disregard others or set one up for narcissistic selfishness. It’s heartbreaking to see so much discord in our world today. It’s frustrating to see the world spinning out of control. Everyone has within them the capacity to do good. Everyone has the choice to choose how they will respond, how they will conduct themselves. Isn’t it interesting that no one has to take a class to learn how to be selfish? Our own carnality and ...

3-31-21 An Authentic Voice

Daily Devotion: An Authentic Voice - by Greg Laurie - www.harvest.org The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. -2 Chronicles 16:9 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/an-authentic-voice/ - Listen The term "know-it-all" usually has negative connotations. But Jesus literally is a know-it-all because He's omniscient, which means all-knowing. Jesus knows everything, yet He made himself vulnerable and open during His earthly ministry. For instance, He reached out to the woman at the well in Samaria, and she ended up believing as a result. He engaged her in conversation, and after she realized that He knew everything about her, she "left her water jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone, 'Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could he possibly be the Messiah?'" (John 4:28-29 NLT). So the people from the village went to see Him. Why? ...

3-31-21 Sowing and Reaping

Daily Jot: The Farm Chronicles: Sowing and Reaping - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com There is something very earthy about growing up on a farm. You experience things as a youngster that others do not. You learn a certain sense about events in life that inform you for the rest of your life. It is beyond the cold, frigid mornings when you pry open the barn door frozen to its latch and the cows and horses greet you with a "mooo" or a "whinnie." It extends beyond the musty smell of hay mixed with the odors of the animals-maybe repulsive to some, but they become a sweet perfume of remembrance to those of us who loved the farm life. There are bonds that are never forgotten to times, places, people, even animals that you knew along the way. These are memories that flash through our minds of a time long ago. The farm life is a microcosm of a lifetime packed into weeks rather than years. Life and death are interwoven into the daily fabric of farming. It is not only the cr...

Friends of Christ Dorothy Day All that the friends of Christ did for him in his lifetime, we can do. Peter’s mother-in-law hastened to cook a meal for him, and if anything in the Gospels can be inferred, it surely is that she gave the very best she had, with no thought of extravagance. Matthew made a feast for him, inviting the whole town, so that the house was in an uproar of enjoyment, and the straitlaced Pharisees – the good people – were scandalized. 3-30-21 Daily Prayer

Daily Prayer for March 30 Christoph Friedrich Blumhardt We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you. Psalm 33:20–22, NIV Lord God, we thank you for having revealed yourself on this earth in the midst of sin, need, and oppression. We thank you that we can have joy in all you have done both before and since the coming of Jesus Christ, our Savior in everything. To you be praise and thanks. Our hearts leap up with joy in you and in your deeds. Grant that we may be faithful to the end, victorious in all things through your Spirit, who helps and blesses us on our way. Grant your help to all who call to you and who long to rejoice in you. Amen.

3-30-21 Today in the Word

MIRIAM - COMPETING FOR LEADERSHIP At times, we all experience envy—resenting the blessing or success of others. But envy can be particularly damaging when we let it divide the people of God. In Numbers 11, the Israelites had been wandering in the wilderness for two years, and they were frustrated. They claimed they were treated better in Egypt, and even complained about the manna God provided (11:1–6). They wanted meat! Finally, God sent quail—more than they could eat (11:31–34). But because of their continued discontent, God also sent a plague. Not long after, Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses (12:1). The surface complaint was that Moses had taken a Cushite wife. However, the real issue was jealousy. “Has the Lord spoken only through Moses?” they asked. “Hasn’t he also spoken through us?” (v. 2). This sibling trio was being pulled apart by envy and competition. The use of the feminine singular verb in verse 1 implicates Miriam as the point person. Aaron followed her lead. ...

3-30-21 Daily Devotion

March 30, 2021 God’s Will and Prayer Nehemiah 1 Certain aspects of God are beyond our full understanding, and one of them is how He uses our prayers to work out His will. Although He is the sovereign, omnipotent, all-knowing God who needs no one’s help, He has chosen to allow us to participate in the achievement of His divine plans through our prayers. Nehemiah was moved to pray after hearing about the hardships of the Jews who’d returned to Jerusalem following Babylonian captivity. At the time, he was doing his job as the cupbearer to the King of Persia. But the Lord quickly answered Nehemiah’s prayer by paving the way and providing the resources that would allow him to rebuild the wall in Jerusalem. Although we may not see answers as dramatic and obvious when we pray, the Lord still wants us to present our needs and believe that He’ll respond in a way that furthers His will for our life. There will be times when we can’t perceive any change, but that doesn’t mean God is not worki...

3-30-21 The Whole Enchilada

The Whole Enchilada :: By Jim Towers Published on: March 26, 2021 by RRadmin7 Category:General Articles, Jim Torres “Towers” Dear Younger Person, As a young person, atheist or “none” who doesn’t know their Creator or the things of God, did you ever wonder why you are here, who or what created all things, including mankind, and if there is life after death or even right or wrong? Knowing that many younger people today don’t know the basic rudiments of the Bible (Word of God), I will attempt to explain it, in a nutshell, using simple terms and an easy-to-understand narrative. We who have been steeped in Bible studies for years owe it to our prodigy to reveal what we know of the bestselling and widely read book of all time and its “author,” God. The time is coming when society will have forgotten that there is even a God who cares about us individually. I write to you younger people specifically since I have many years of experience in living the Christian life – one of study, introspe...

3-30-21 Never, Never, Ever Give In

Never, Never, Ever Give In :: By Bill Wilson Published on: March 19, 2021 by RRadmin7 Category:Bill Wilson, General Articles On October 29, 1941, a year after one of the darkest hours of World War II for Great Britain, Prime Minister Winston Churchill addressed his alma mater Harrow School. Here emerged one of the most famous quotes (which oft has been misquoted): “Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in, except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.” This quote will hopefully embolden you, encourage you, strengthen you as it did to Brits and their allies as they fought one of the gravest evils to darken the steps of mankind. Evil never changes; it just finds more ways. We are repeatedly instructed by God’s word to overcome evil with good. There is so much evil in our society and around the world. Much of what we read, see a...

3-30-21 The Moral and Constitutional Duty of Border Security

Daily Jot: The moral and Constitutional duty of border security – Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com There are a myriad of depraved, immoral sins connected to the dismantling of border security by President Joe Biden and his henchmen, now including many in the Republican Party. From a national security standpoint, this open border policy is an unconstitutional high crime against the country. Deeply troubling also are the ramifications of increased drug cartel activity, murders, kidnapping and human trafficking, especially against children. Yet another consequence of this reckless nonsense is that these people will be assimilated into society without legality and will be the pawns of politicians seeking their illegal votes by incentivizing them with benefits paid by your hard-earned tax dollars. The preamble to the Constitution is the evidence of what the Founding Fathers intended for they wanted the Constitution to achieve. It reads: “We the People of the United States, in Order to for...

3-30-21 Why Forgetting Ourselves is Necessary for Holiness

WHY FORGETTING OURSELVES IS NECESSARY FOR HOLINESS Andrew Menkis Thursday, 1 October 20 Sometimes I need to remind myself of the radical nature of the second greatest commandment. Christians are not merely commanded to love their neighbor. That on its own might be feasible, especially depending on how we define what it means to love your neighbor. But that is not the whole commandment. We are called to love our neighbors as much as we love ourselves! If we honestly examine our thoughts, feelings, motivations, and actions I think we will find that we really, really love ourselves. So much of what we say and do is for our own benefit and to meet our desires. So much of what we expect from others is centered on ourselves, not them. For example: Have you ever forgiven yourself for something that you wouldn’t forgive someone else for? Have you ever made an excuse for your actions that you would never accept from your spouse, kids, or co-workers? We do things like that all the time becaus...
