11-29-20 Foolishness Revisited
Foolishness Revisited :: By Dennis Huebshman

Just about a year ago, I posted a message referencing 1 Corinthians 1:18-19; “For the word of the Cross is folly to those who are perishing; but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.” Going to verse 25, “For the power of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” (any emphasis mine)
Since that message was posted, the world has seen a rapid acceleration toward the New World Order coming forth, and subsequently, the anticipated appearing of their satanic leader – the final antichrist. He hasn’t been able to appear yet, and is being restrained as given in 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7; “And you know what is restraining him now [Holy Spirit], so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only He who now restrains it will do so until He is out of the way.” The “out of the way” will be right after Jesus calls all true believers up to meet Him in the air in the Rapture. Until that time, no one will know who the evil one is. As for his time, God will allow him 7 years to cause havoc on everyone who is left behind.
Isaiah 5:20-21 is here, and is totally out in the open. “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight.”
The so-called pandemic has created an excuse to prove that people can be totally controlled through fear, and will respond in ways that would not otherwise be possible. While I believe the virus is very real, it’s being played out as if it’s more lethal than is actually so; and the numbers are being inflated to keep up the deception. A lot of deaths are being blamed as Covid-related when there are other underlying causes that actually brought about the person’s death.
All the civil unrest in America, as well as in other parts of the world, would not be possible if it weren’t for the radical left’s agenda. Their satanic influence is obvious, but anyone who tries to call attention to this is labeled a “hater” and is persecuted, or even killed. Anything that relates to Jesus is considered to be “negative” according to the radicals’ beliefs.
The riots, looting, burning and killing are being funded by some very wealthy and influential people. This is not being randomly done, but has been planned over the past decade or so. Activists (terrorists) are literally being bussed into locations to create their mayhem. Law Enforcement is being hampered by extreme liberal government people that are keeping the officers from fully doing their “sworn duty.” The police are actually being targeted for assassination by the radical terrorist groups, and there are attacks daily in various places.
The leaders of certain groups (antifa, BLM and others) are very out in the open by proclaiming they plan to take over our government. The “socialist” agenda is prevalent, and even some members of the U.S. Congress are backing them.
God is not surprised by anything that is taking place today. Jesus told of signs of things that would be happening just before His return. They include famines, pestilences (locust swarms in Africa and Middle East), weather changes, earthquakes in various places, along with a turning away from anything that truly is Holy (Matthew 24). Paul gives a list of attitudes that would be here in 2 Timothy 3, and we see all of them right now. John talked about false prophets and antichrists that were present in his time, and that their activity would increase near the end of this age (1 John 2 through 5).
Going to 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, we have a picture of today’s anti-God attitudes. “The coming of the lawlessness one [antichrist] is by the activity of Satan, with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the Truth and so be saved. Therefore, God sends them a strong delusion, so that they might believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the Truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” While this delusion will be intense during the 7-year Tribulation, it’s believed that the Father has already allowed it to get started to fulfill end-time prophecy.
Looking at 2 Peter 3:3-4, “Knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. They will say, ‘Where is the promise of His coming?’ For ever since the fathers fell asleep [died] all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.’”
We definitely have the scoffers that are totally buying into the lies being put out by Satan and his demons. There has been sin in this world ever since the first one in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3), but the sheer magnitude of today’s activity is almost overwhelming.
The alphabet group (LGBT and so forth) are advocating that any kind of sexual relations are now perfectly okay. Even some evangelical churches are saying that same-sex marriage is acceptable. The false prophets will receive special attention at the White Throne Judgment, along with all who condone pedophilia.
God does not change His mind. As 2 Peter 3:8 states; “But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord, one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” If we calculate the actual age of this earth from creation to the present day, we’re looking at somewhere between 6,000 and 7,000 years. I do not subscribe to the worldly theory that it was formed millions of years ago. At any rate, using the calculation given, for the Father, only about 6 or 7 days have passed. Time was made for humans, not for God. An abomination was sin as presented in several places in the Bible, and it’s still sin today.
All this negativity could totally wear someone down if allowed to do so. What needs to be remembered is the “unforgiveable sin” is to not have received and accepted Jesus as your Savior before taking your last breath on this earth. All else can be forgiven.
God expects us to turn away from habitual sin; confess we’re all sinners and are seeking forgiveness; ask Jesus to be your Savior and accept His absolutely wonderful gift of eternal life with him that He completely paid for with His life blood at Calvary. This does not mean we will never sin again, but we will have the ability to be forgiven when we do (1 John 1:8-10).
First, read John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Romans 8:1 and Acts 2:21. Jesus is the only One to have the credentials to follow through on God’s promises made to us. Next, read Romans 10:9-13 and Ephesians 2:8-10 for the mechanics of being forgiven and saved. You can put away your checkbook, and throw away all lists of good deeds you plan to do to buy or earn your Salvation. Remember, “Jesus paid it all; all to Him I owe; sin had left a crimson stain; He washed it white as snow.” (Hymn by Elvina Hill, 1865)
On an urgent note, we do not know the day, hour or minute that Jesus will call all true believers up to avoid the coming wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10; 1 Thessalonians 5:9-19 and Revelation 3:10). Everything leading up to the Rapture has been completed as prophesied, and the next major event on the prophetic calendar is for the Rapture to take place. While you have this moment, consider where you wish to spend eternity: Hell with Satan, his demons and all lost souls; or Heaven with Jesus in a place prepared personally by Him for you (John 14:1-3).
There are people who willingly are worshiping Satan, and I truly feel sorry for them. They even have “churches of Satan.” Be among the “elite” who will choose Jesus. This could include everyone on this earth, but more will reject Him than receive Him (Matthew 7:13-14). Right now would not be too early to decide that you wish to spend eternity with Jesus and all the saints that will be with Him. It’s up to each and every one of us to choose.
Come, Lord Jesus! (Maranatha)
