5-27-19 America's Abortion War

Since the appointment of Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court last year the fight over abortion has taken on a new life. Pro-abortion advocates have taken the right to abortion to a new extreme level that hasn't been seen before in our lifetime. America's pro-choice has become death on demand to the point that the newborn can be murdered even after he or she has been successfully delivered. Pro-lifers too have turned to extreme levels. Or have they? Several states have passed laws to restrict abortion to certain circumstances such as incest, rape, or endangerment to the mother. Other states have passed laws the outlaw abortions regardless or circumstances. The bottom line remains the same no matter the argument. Human life begins at conception. Women have the right and choice to become pregnant or not. Once they become pregnant that choice becomes null and void. A higher law comes into play, a law that no human has the right to circumvent. Women don't own their bodies any more than men do. Both are temples of God. God owns your body it's simply on loan to you to glorify him. You cannot be pro-life and agree with abortion under any circumstance. Bad things such as incest and rape do happen. They happen to believers and non-believers the same. God has a purpose for everything that happens, we have a choice of whether or not we trust him to care for and do what will be best for us in the long run. We may disagree with him but that doesn't give us the right to harm or kill other human beings to serve our own wills and desires. I suspect this fight will once again end up at the Supreme Court. I pray that the outcome to Roe vs Wade will be different this time around and reflect the respect and right for all human beings born or unborn to exist without the whims of another human being  becoming the final and deciding factor.
