This great hymnal comes to my mind, “Nothing but the Blood of Jesus.”
There is one thing that will cleanse you from all of your sins, the precious blood of Jesus. Nothing else will cleanse your sins. Why does mankind think they can add to the cross to get to heaven? Most people in the world have religion; very few have Christ. The number one problem in the world is the sins of mankind (every person on the face of the earth). Has the blood of Jesus washed away your sins? All of the people that have added to the cross are LOST and on their way to hell. I pray that you will watch this message.
The Lord has used this message in a mighty way. So many people that have watched this message received Jesus Christ as their Savior. These people are from six countries. Two of them in India were pastors of a church. The pastor that runs that ministry decided to show the message to all of his pastors. One night in Kenya, 35 precious souls received Christ as their Savior after watching this message.
An evangelist in Pakistan is going to start writing the articles that I write into his native language, the Urdu language.
Romans 5:8-9, “But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
Verse nine — “being now justified by his blood.” The only way to be made right with God the Father is through the blood of Jesus. There is no other way to be made right with a Holy righteous God. When the blood of Jesus washes our sins away, God the Father adopts us into His family, and we become sons and daughters of God. We are made right with God. Because of this, we are saved from the wrath through him. What wrath is this? The wrath of God when you are found guilty of your sins and cast into the lake of fire forever. Notice in the verse that it says “through him” – this is Jesus. When the Father looks upon the born-again Christian, he no longer sees the sins; he sees the blood of Jesus.
One of the names of Jesus is Lamb. Revelation13:8, “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him [the Antichrist], whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Jesus knew he was going to give his life for mankind. The second verse is in John 1:36; “And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God.” This is so important for our salvation. If Jesus was not the Lamb of God, then He would not have been able to die on the cross for our sins. But he is the Lamb of God. So he was able to take our place on the cross. We should have been the ones on the cross and destined to go to hell, but he took our place on the cross. Thank you, Jesus.
In Exodus 12, the Lord is telling Moses and Aaron what to say to the children of Israel. On the last night in Egypt, there would be one more plague on Egypt. All of the first-born males would be killed, both man and beast, in every household. The only way to avoid the plague was to kill an innocent lamb and take the blood of the lamb and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper doorpost of the houses. The only way that the first-born would not die is for the blood of the innocent lamb to be on the doorposts of the house. The only way you will not go to hell is the blood of Jesus has to wash away your sins.
So let’s go back to Exodus 12:5. “Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats.” The lamb had to be without blemish – no fault. This means no sins. We find that Jesus was without sin. He was without blemish. Judas said this to the chief priest and elders in Matthew 27:4: “I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? See thou to that.” 1 Peter 1:19, “But with the precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot.”
Pontus Pilot kept saying, “I find no fault in this man” (John18:38; John19:4-6). Because Jesus had never sinned in his life, he was able to die on the cross for our sins. How was he able to live a sinless life? He was born of a virgin — conceived by the Holy Spirit.
Where was the blood applied when the children of Israel were in Egypt? We need to take a look at Leviticus 16:14-15.
“And he shall take the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times. Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat.”
As long as the blood of the lamb was applied to the doorpost, the first-born son in the house was not killed. As long as the blood of Jesus is applied to your sins, you will not be cast into the lake of fire.
I ask the question, why are we justified by the blood of Jesus? The Word of God has the answer. In Hebrews 9:12, it says, “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” This verse has so much in it. Jesus took his own blood into the holy place. He took his blood and dipped his fingers in his own blood and sprinkled his blood on the mercy seat in heaven. Wow! Thank you, Jesus.
I want to show you an interesting verse; it is in John 20:17. Jesus had risen from the tomb; listen to what Jesus said to Mary. “Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father.” Jesus had not yet gone up to heaven to his Father to sprinkle his blood on the mercy seat in heaven. His blood is still on the mercy seat today. That is why we are justified by his blood.
Back to verse 12 in Hebrews, chapter 9. What did his blood obtain? ETERNAL REDEMPTION FOR US. How can a person believe that they can lose their salvation when Jesus obtained their eternal redemption for them? Eternal means forever. Your sins are paid in full forever. Jesus’ blood obtained eternal redemption for Keith Watts. Keith Watts’ sins are under the blood forever. Wow! Thank you, Jesus; you not only paid for my sins, but you paid for them forever.
When you have time, read verses 13 and 14. I will say this about these two verses: all of the animals that were offered up in the history of Israel were looking forward to the Lamb of God being offered up for our sins once and for all.
We are justified by his blood. There is nothing else that will cleanse your sins away. Why is Jesus the only way? He even says this in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.”
He is the Lamb of God.
He is innocent (without blemish or spot).
He is sufficient.
He is final.
I covered the first three points, and now I will cover the last point, in Hebrews 9:24-26.
24 “For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us.” Wow! What a wonderful verse. Jesus did not sprinkle his blood on the mercy seat in the temple in Jerusalem. The one he went to was not made with hands; it is in heaven where the Father is. Verse 25 tells us he is our eternal High Priest. Jesus is still in the presence of God for us. Only the high priest could go into the holy of holies once a year at the Passover time. Wow!
25 “Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others.” Why did the high priest have to do this every year? It was because the blood was an animal’s, not human blood. When Jesus died on the cross and then afterward came out of the grave, he went to heaven to put his human blood on the mercy seat. That is why it is final. God the Father was not going to be satisfied until His Son’s blood was on the mercy seat in heaven. Jesus does not have to keep dying on the cross over and over again, and he does not have to go into the holy place over and over. Because he is the Lamb of God, he only had to do it once, and that is it. (Do you still believe you can lose your salvation?)
I ask the question after reading this message, why do you still believe you can lose your salvation? If Jesus’ Blood is powerful enough to save, his blood is powerful enough to keep.
26 “For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.”
IF you could lose your salvation, then Jesus would have to die over and over. I am so thankful that my Lord only had to die once for me. It is final. When I am in my eternal body, my salvation will be complete.
What a day that will be
When my Jesus I shall see
And I look upon his face
The one who saved me by his grace
When he takes me by the hand
And leads me through the Promised Land
What a day, glorious day that will be
What a wonderful hymn!
In closing:
Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
One day all of us will die.
If you died today, would you go to heaven or hell? After you die, it is final.
Revelation 20:14-15, “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” This death will never end for you like the first death that happens on this earth. This death goes on forever and ever. “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
Is your name written in the book of life?
Read Romans 10:9-10. I ask you to watch the message (the link is at the top of the article) and say the sinner’s prayer at the end of the message. Repeat it, but say it from your heart to God’s heart.
I am asking all prayer warriors to join with us on May 26, 2022, for a day of prayer, fasting and repentance for Pakistan and on behalf of over 227,763,652 precious souls. We are believing that we will move the heart of God. Be a part of the harvest of lost souls.
On a personal note, I am asking all prayer warriors to join with me on behalf of my wife Jenni. Her health is not good at all; this has been going on for seven years. We are to a point where the medical field is saying there is no hope, but my Jesus is still on the throne. She is in the hands of Jesus, and I have put my faith and trust in him. Thank you for your prayers.
