God’s Scriptural Warnings :: By Murray Lorance Published on: April 2, 2022 by RRadmin7 Category:General Articles God spoke in the wilderness to Moses and the Israelites, & He speaks also to us in these end-of-age, COVID times. Leviticus 26: 14-25 KJV – emphasis added “14 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; 15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: 16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague [fever], that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. 17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you. 18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. 19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass: 20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits. 21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins. 22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate. 23 And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me; 24 Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins. 25 And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.” II Chronicles 7:13-14 “If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” If this sounds like our past two years, expect and prepare for more of the same! God is consistent; God is constant and unchanging in His ways: The original COVID turned into a series of mutations, and more may be on the horizon. Today’s ‘antidotes’ aren’t. The end-time pangs come more intense and closer together (verse 21). Many voices are calling for significant reductions in living populations, by any and all means possible – you are expendable and will be “fewer in number” (verse 17). People of determination, faith, & legacy principles are being removed from frontline response positions – military, law enforcement, fire/EMS, healthcare, supply chains, farming, news media, etc. – perhaps to lessen the shock of a post-rapture realignment and thus keep the present powers in control? America/the West is not a central force in the end times, according to scripture (verse 17). Wild beasts, now including rodents, vermin, giant hornets – to name just a few, are rampant, and no current controls are effective (verse 22). Highways are waning in terms of delivered commerce & supplies (verse 22). Weather and conditions will not be favorable for sustaining crops – drought, floods, winds, chemicals, etc., not to mention foreign land and harvest purchases (verse 20). Cities are unsafe by dint of enablements and encouragements of scofflaws and street-squatters, no longer by rule of law (verse 25). Drugs are rampant; criminals are released among us. REPENT is the clarion call of scripture – by Christ, by the Apostles, and by evangelists and ministers adhering to the whole counsel of God. But now, few are reforming (verse 23). Thus, God’s blessings on the land are replaced by His allowing the just rewards of turmoil and chaos. Reread the passage above, and consider your plight, your current and looming condition. Are you spiritually secure in this time of storm? Are you consistently in His Word and in prayer? A good read for now is the book of Jeremiah, as the warned collapse unfolded for rebellious and unheeding Israel. Hebrews 13:3 “Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2 “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.” Psalm 122:6 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.” Are you being prudent and cautious? Are you dealing firmly with conditions and not with a slack hand? Are you shedding the ways of this world? Romans 8:5-8 “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.” Are you being a ‘watchman on the wall’ alerting others to seek God’s forgiveness and favor? Isaiah 62:6 “I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence.” Are you patient in mistreatment by others? Remember, God reserves vengeance to Himself and judges with equity. Romans 12:19 “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Luke 6:28-30 “Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also. Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.” Are you confidently looking up and listening for the divine shout ‘Come up here’? God knows who are the few faithful amongst the rebellious and wicked. I Kings 19:18 “Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.” For those left behind, multiplied horrors are foretold and strong delusion because they believed not the truth. II Thessalonians 2:11-12 “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” There will be a ‘famine’ of hearing his Word. Amos 8:11 “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord.” Lorance
