11-30-19 Rapture Ready News

Rapture Ready End Times News 30 Nov 2019 Published on:  November 30, 2019  by  RRadmin7 Ukraine’s Jews in the crucible It was a dreadfully cold winter when Sam Sokol arrived in Ukraine in 2013. In Kiev, a revolution was bubbling to the surface and the author wanted to cover its effects on the country’s 70,000 Jews. Protesters had taken over the Maidan, the central square in Kiev, to challenge the pro-Russian government. Some of the Ukrainian nationalist groups were rumored to be virulently antisemitic, including the Svoboda Party. 11-30-19 Daily Devotion

November 30, 2019 Clinging to God’s Promises Luke 24:13-49 The Bible is a gold mine of promises for believers. During any season, but especially in hard times, God’s promises provide an anchor for our soul. They give us hope and enable us to be courageous and bold when facing challenges. But many individuals do not rely on God’s assurances. There are two reasons for this. First, some people are unaware of His promises. Second, others simply do not believe them to be true. A lot of believers can quote Scripture, but when they face a daunting trial—like a job loss or frightening diagnosis—their confidence wavers and doubt prevails. If we are unaware of all that Scripture promises, we can’t make ourselves believe. But the more we learn and pray and talk with God, the stronger our faith grows, and this is a gift from almighty God. Luke 24 documents two times that people came face to face with Jesus Christ but failed to recognize Him. He had to open their spiritual eyes before

Daily Prayer for November 30 Christoph Friedrich Blumhardt Shout for joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious...Come and see what God has done, his awesome deeds for mankind! Psalm 66:1–2, 5, NIV Lord our God,  let your miracles be done among us, and bless us through your deeds. Bless us in Jesus Christ, the Savior of so many people. May your kingdom come to us and at last bring the great miracles that carry out your will and that do what is pleasing to you. Lord God, Father in heaven, we praise you! In you we live, in you we believe, in you we hope, in you we want to live day by day and hour by hour. May your name be honored among us, for you are our God and the God of all the world. Let your light shine among all people so that many millions and whole nations may glorify your name, for in the last days the nations shall come and worship you. So protect and bless us today and in the coming time, and again and again let something happen to b

11-30-19 Daily Dig

Image
Daily Dig for November 30 Mahatma Gandhi Although we sing, “All glory to God on High and on the earth be peace,” there seems to be today neither glory to God nor peace on earth. As long as it remains a hunger still unsatisfied, as long as Christ is not yet born, we have to look forward to him. When real peace is established, we will not need demonstrations, but it will be echoed in our life, not only in individual life, but in corporate life. Then we shall say Christ is born.…Then we will not think of a particular day in the year as that of the birth of the Christ, but as an ever-recurring event which can be enacted in every life. 11-30-19 Today in the Word

Thanks and Praise SHOWING THANKS IN SMALL WAYS Saturday, November 30, 2019 |  2 Corinthians 9:6–11 Small Business Saturday began in America in 2010 and in the United Kingdom in 2013. City officials noticed consumers were overlooking smaller shops and local businesses. On this day, customers are encouraged to purchase items from small local businesses instead of choosing the big box retailers or e-commerce stores. In order to have a growing and fair economy these small businesses are vital. Our passage today does not speak about the value of small businesses, but it does speak about the importance of being known as generous people. While many use these verses to promote the “prosperity gospel,” Paul’s main idea here is for believers to sow generously with good intentions, despite one’s wealth. A person ought to give to the work of the Lord out of a cheerful heart (v. 7). Perhaps Paul realizes that some people give to get something in return: assets, possessions, or acclamation. Pau

11-30-19 Advice for Christians Who Work Sundays

Advice for Christians Who Work Sundays 00:00 -11:17 Episode  1389   November 1, 2019 Download Interview with John Piper Founder & Teacher, desiringGod.org Audio Transcript It’s Friday, and for a lot of us, our workweek is ending and a free weekend is ahead. For others, the weekend means more work, like for Christine, a nurse in Louisville. “Dear Pastor John, thank you for your wisdom over the years. By God’s grace, I have grown up in a solid Christian home and have known your name as long as I have known my own. I recently graduated as a registered nurse and now work in an ICU that requires all nurses to work every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Since I work day shift, this means that I miss being with the body of Christ every third Sunday for both the morning and evening. This is hard on me. I believe the Sabbath is a precious day of rest and refreshment in the Lord and in the company of his people. An
