12-22-17 Is the Merriment Finished?

Well it's the Friday before Christmas. All of the Christmas parties and dinners at work have been completed. Everyone that can has already jumped ship and left for home or other destinations. There was some changes this year. There were less Christmas decorations hung this year. They normally take up donations of food, clothing, toys for the less fortunate but that didn't happen this year. People in general have been more reserved this year. Maybe they know something I don't or maybe they know and feel what I do. In some ways it doesn't even feel like a holiday. Whether you celebrate or acknowledge Christmas or not the day will still come and go. Maybe it's more about the spirit that we carry in our heart vs the day itself. If that's the case every day should be Christmas. Maybe the world would be a better place if we could live that way. Peace

David Cicilline, a Democrat from Rhode Island, has introduced legislation to permanently bar former Pres. Trump from running for president again, and 40 Democrats have signed on.
