They Are Waiting – We Are Ready :: By Dennis Huebshman Published on: September 8, 2021 by RRadmin7 Category:General Articles Just recently, I posted that all true believers never really say “goodbye.” With us, it’s “until later.” Looking back through all my years and remembering all the loved ones that have passed from this life, I get the “warm fuzzies” for a whole bunch of them that I am sure will be at the reunion. On the other hand, there are some that I fear I’ll never see again. Only God knows who were saved and who weren’t, and I leave all judgments to Him. (ESV, all emphasis mine) Isaiah 54:13; “All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.” Psalm 127:3; “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord; the fruit of the womb; a reward.” Matthew 18:1-6; “At that time, the disciples came to Jesus saying; ‘Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?’ And calling to Him a child, He put him in the midst of them; then said, ‘Truly, I say to you; unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever receives such a child in My name, receives Me; but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and be drowned in the depth of the sea.'” Before moving on to more of God’s word, is there any doubt as to the eternal fate of the ones that are causing great harm to children today? The ones that are kidnapping them, selling them as “sex slaves,” and putting them in the pathway of every perversion possible will gain “special attention” at the Great White Throne Judgment. It seems we are hearing of more and more abuse being administered to children, even from some of their loved ones who are supposed to protect them. I am glad that I will not be there to judge the evil ones. The Father will handle that totally. Next, Matthew 19:14-15; “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the Kingdom of Heaven. And, He laid His hands on them [Blessed them], and went away.” Matthew 18:10; See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you, that in Heaven, their angels always see the face of My Father, who is in Heaven.” Our Heavenly Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – has special feelings for the vulnerable young souls that are here. There have been testimonies of pre-teen children that had developed a love for Jesus, and through their relationship with Him, lived to present Him to others. What’s sad is that many, when they grow older, lose that love and will pull away from Him to become involved with the things of this world. The ones that keep their faith are especially precious in His sight. One young lady had a special love for Jesus, even though she had a disease that could, and eventually did, cause her death. Yet, she lived her short time here as a testimony of love to the Savior. Even though she left here at age 10, she was influential in bringing many of her school classmates and others to a knowledge of the Savior. Her story was told in a message I was privileged to post in June 2020 and is called “A Love for All Time.” I look forward to seeing her at Jesus’ side when we soon get Home. Aside from the Children, I will be looking forward to the “Marriage Supper of the Lamb,” as given in Revelation 19:6-9. All who will have received and accepted the free gift of Salvation given to us by Jesus at Calvary will be considered His “bride.” We are also considered His precious flock, and He is our Good Shepherd (John 10). We will never age when we are in our new bodies, as age is a number made for humans during our stay on this earth. God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit – they are ageless. This Trinity has always existed and will always exist. I have no idea what our forever bodies will be like other than we won’t worry about “how old” we or others are. Just imagine Abraham, Ruth, Esther, King David, and all the rest will look the same as we do. The best part is everyone will know everyone there. It’s a concept we cannot grasp right now. There is a downside to this which involves all who died out of the will of God pre-Calvary and all from Calvary to the end of the Millennial Reign of Jesus who will have taken their last breath on this earth without repenting. There will be no reunions, glorious celebrations, or loving each other as the Father has loved all of us. What there will be will take place at the Great White Throne Judgment with that very long line of lost people waiting to find out what their “forever punishment” will be. At this judgment, it will be too late to call out for forgiveness, and there will be no pardons. All are condemned. The judgments will be fair and just, as that is the way of our Heavenly Father. All who denied Jesus, including Satan and his demons, will bow and confess that Jesus is Lord. Then, according to their deeds here, each one will be “sentenced” to the Lake of Fire – Hell. Satan will understandably receive the harshest punishment of all. It will go down from there, all the way to the person who lived a “good” life but didn’t see the need to ask Jesus to forgive them and be their Savior forever. Please read the following carefully: If you want a joyous reunion in Heaven, you can be sure you will be there by following certain steps. That’s “steps,” not works; no special recitals; no special monetary contributions; nothing of yourself. Ephesians 2:8-9 tells why; so that we can’t boast about earning our own Salvation. Romans 10:9-13 are the steps that some call the ABCs of Salvation. A – admit you’re a sinner as we all are (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23), and confess this to Jesus. B – Believe and have faith that Jesus died for our sins, and God raised Him from the dead, and He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). C – call on the name of the Lord, and you will be saved. You can do this at home, or wherever. Talk to Jesus because He’s right there listening to you. Trust in Him, and know He will turn no one away who truly receives and accepts Him. Your “forever” will be sealed by the Holy Spirit that will be in you from then on. You will actually have the angels in Heaven cheering for you (Luke 15:10). You are now ready for the Heavenly Reunion when the time comes. All the signs say it will be very soon. We must be ready beforehand because no one will have the time to call out to Jesus when the Trumpet of God sounds, and the shout comes from the Archangel. You must have your “reservation” in advance. Hope to see you at the Heavenly Supper Table! Come quickly, Lord Jesus! huebshman46@gmail.com
