Jesus Christ is Calling; Will You Answer? :: By Don Twobears
It would appear that those of us called the “Watchers on the Wall” are beginning to have more and more evidence for the “Last Days” coming to bear. So then, the real question is…who is listening?
I know that I have written many articles that bear out the words found in 2 Timothy 3:1-7. I also know I am not the only one that has done this; there have been many. And still so very few are paying any attention. The following cases in point will bear this out, simply because this is the news for only one day!

2 Timothy 3:1-7 “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
Does this strike you as so very odd that mankind is thinking we are high and mighty, above the gross actions of some; that we have come so far and are so intellectual that we would never find ourselves involved in such things in any manner? And yet, the news declares the opposite.
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
I have a problem with the part of the above Scripture which says, “That they all might be damned.” The reason for this is because I would like to think that most people are willing to “think before they act!” It is truly sad to know that the majority of the world is in the same boat, running that same course to Eternal Destruction. And again, sadly enough, the news bears out the Truth of God’s Holy Word to you and me. If I didn’t know better, I would be willing to say the world has gone totally insane! What are your thoughts on this?
Truthfully speaking, I am no longer shocked at what people do nowadays. And it hits me time and again: what is truly going through their minds? And then the Bible once again rolls through my mind and I hear:
2 Thessalonians 2:7-10 “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”
We are there, my friends. We are in the very midst of the Last Days. The Coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is so close at hand! Are you aware that each and every one of us is presently standing at an open door? With one single step we will venture into Eternity. And the Bible tells us that the majority are headed to Eternal Destruction…that only a FEW will find the narrow Gate to Heaven.
It boggles my mind when I think of what most people really want. They want happiness and pleasure, peace and harmony, and above any other…safety. If that is truly the case with them, then why is it they never once pick up a Bible and find out how to obtain those things?
There is only one path to having all that your heart desires…Jesus Christ…in Him ONLY.
I have stated it more times than I am able to count…the Bible is older than 4,700 years. In that space of time, you would think the majority would read it and find the absolute Truth in Jesus Christ. “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you” (Matthew 7:7).
And then to know that these same people will be screaming and complaining that no one ever told them of this! And all that Jesus Christ will need to do is to show them His hands and feet, the wound in His chest, the scars of the crown of thorns on His Head. How utterly sad those minutes will be for so many! They will literally and fully understand that they will suffer for Eternity in Hell and The Lake of Fire.
I hope that they had a really good time while here. I hope that their happiness here will suffice for them, because Eternity is a really long time!
I often hear, “A Loving God would never send anyone to Hell for Eternity!” If God was nothing more than just Love, I would probably agree with them. The truth is this: God is JUST and He is Righteous. If you have never called upon Jesus Christ…Who IS GOD….call upon Him now to cover your sins with His blood from the cross at Calvary.
If you do not Believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, If you do not Believe in His Holy Word to us, the Bible,….then you, my friend, are headed for Hell and the Lake of Fire, and it will last for Eternity. I did NOT say this; GOD did in His Holy Word. “And you can take that to the bank and get cash money on the barrelhead.”
People…you need to wake up! You need to see what is going on around you and then call on Jesus Christ to save you, before it’s too late! Trust me when I say, “Time is way too short!” The Rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ is about to take place. Where you end up after that is all up to you. The facts are staring you in the face…in black and white…the News headlines bear this out.
I can’t wait for the Lord to come and take me Home, right where I belong. Not because of anything I have ever done, but because He Loved me first. And now I Love Him more than this life!
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
