11-15-17 Tis the Season to be Jolly

Well, we are a week away from the official beginning of the holiday season. I usually end up working on the calendar day of the holiday as if it were just another day because, in reality, that's what it is just another day. If you think about it Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's are three holidays that we should carry with us and celebrate every day of our lives. We should always be thankful and mindful of the blessings that we have.We should always be kind and loving to each other and help those that have less than we do. We should always remember and celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and give thanks to God every day for the precious gift of salvation that he gave to the world so many years ago. We should strive every day to share his love and compassion to others in a hurting world where the needs are many. And we should always have and hold to the hope of a better day when there will be only joy and happiness with no more sadness, pain, and sorrow. So as you see the holidays are not just one special day of the year but rather a special way of looking at our lives on a daily basis and giving thanks and caring and loving others always being willing to share God's love to our fellow mankind. So I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving, a very Merry Christmas, and a joyful Happy New Year today and every day of your life. Peace.
