8-2-17 New life

We needed to have some new life brought into our household. There's been way too much death hanging around lately. I took Shirley down to the animal shelter in Greensboro and we found Patrick a three month old retriever puppy. Such a sweet and gentle young fur baby. He will grow up to be a large fur baby and that's OK. He might have to help lead me around someday. Shirley has another baby to hug and love and the other dogs seem to be happy with their new family member also. Buddy now has a brother so maybe the two females won't try and push him around so much. Today has been good. Smiles and laughter returned to our home.
